Ingredients
- 2 medium raw green mangoes
- 4 cups cold water
- 4–5 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black salt
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- A pinch of black pepper (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Method
- Boil the raw mangoes until soft (about 15–20 minutes). Let them cool.
- Peel the mangoes and extract the pulp.
- Blend the pulp with sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, and a little water until smooth.
- Add the remaining cold water and mix well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or salt if needed.
- Serve chilled over ice and garnish with mint leaves.
Tip: For a stronger tangy flavor, use less sugar and add a little extra black salt. This refreshing drink is perfect for hot summer days.
